Title Doors to the Room de Luxe in the Willow Tea Rooms, Glasgow
Alternative Title Pine and leaded glass doors to the Room de Luxe in the Willow Tea Rooms, Glasgow
Abstract/Summary Noted as Mackintosh's most elaborate and certainly his largest design in leaded glass, these doors depict the motif of a willow with stylised leaves and waving stems. The motif of an opening rose also appears. The overall form of the leaded design suggests the shape of a kimono.
