Abstract/Summary This drawing was submitted as part of Mackintosh's entry into an ideas competition to design a house for a connoisseur of the arts, run by the German design magazine 'Zeitschrift für Innendekoration' in 1901. His drawings were later used by the Glasgow City Council and the Glasgow School of Art to actually construct the House for an Art Lover in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow (1989-1996).
